Madhur Gupta, is an M.Sc in Zoology and has done B. Ed from Delhi University. With more than 15 years of varied experiences in different schools, she has been associated with Genesis Global School Noida since day one. She has been teaching Biology in all the three curriculums (CBSE, IGCSE and IB) up to grade 12. Other than academics, she has coordinated Summer Camp in the first three years and has been handling time table till date for middle and senior school. She’s currently HOD Sciences for middle and senior school. She has also been an Examination Officer for School Examinations and now from this session, she will be an IGCSE coordinator.
Other than teaching she enjoys spending time doing Gardening and Cooking.
A veteran in Early Years education, Ms. Alka Sarkar has dedicated more than two decades of her life in teaching the youngest of the young.
She is the Head Pre Primary of the school and brings value to the school by virtue of her vast hands-on experience in her field. Apart from specializing in Child Education, her training in classical dance and music further enhance her capabilities, as these qualities are an integral part of a Pre Primary teacher’s persona.
She has successfully run her own Playschool in Delhi for twelve years. On relocation to Noida, she has worked in schools such as ‘Lotus Valley International School’ and ‘Step By Step’.
She is passionate about her work and never tires of it as she feels blessed to be in the company of little ones and bonds beautifully with them. She strives to set lofty standards by laying down a strong foundation for the future of both the school and the children, enabling the imminent alumni to be responsible global citizens of tommorrow.
An alumni of The Doon School and Delhi University, Tariq Sayeed has been with Genesis since July, 2014 wherein he assumed office as the Coordinator of the IB Diploma Programme. He joined us from Sarala Birla Academy, Bangalore where he was the head of department and housemaster from 2008-2014. Prior to that, he was with GD Goenka World School where he taught business management in the IB Diploma programme. Tariq has been a teacher and has also held diverse administrative positions for the past 12 years amassing a vast experience in varied types of curricula: IBDP, IGCSE, A-Level, ISC and CBSE.
Tariq has been an IB trained educator and examiner for over a period of 10 years. His rich & vast experience in the IB Diploma Programme has added great value to the international curricula in the senior school at GGS.
Gautam brings with him the experience in the field of Physical Education spanning more than 24 years. He is an alumni of LNCPE, Gwalior, holding a Master’s Degree in Physical Education with specialization in Sports medicine and Sports management.
He exudes an enthusiastic attitude which promotes sportsmanship, develops teamwork, and motivates children to embrace physical fitness as a lifestyle. Gautam creates an energized atmosphere while maintaining discipline and safety standards.
He has attended various Round Square Conferences and is an active volunteer with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Association, International Award for Young People, India.
His previous work experience has been with Vasant Valley School, G. D. Goenka Public School, G. D. Goenka World School, Aravali; as Director of Physical Education at the Assam Valley School and as the Dean of Activities at Oakridge International School, Hyderabad
Mr. Tiwari has taught Physics for about 17 years to secondary and senior secondary classes in various schools like GVM, Birlapur, Apollo International school, Sonepat and Gyan Bharati School, Saket , New Delhi. He was also the Academic – Coordinator at GVM, Birlapur.
He joined Genesis in April 2011 and has been teaching the IBDP, IGCSE and CBSE classes. He is the founder of the Robotics and Astronomy Clubs at GGS. His passions have evolved over the years from robotics and astronomy to video game development and animation activities. With his vision and enthusiasm our robotics scholars have participated and excelled in many national and international competitions.
As Dean – Activities he is responsible for all curricular and co- curricular activities in school and also coordinates the NASA and CERN trips.
Pradeep Paul is a dedicated, resourceful and goal driven professional educator with a commitment to the social and academic growth and development of children.
With more than 16 years of experience and now as Head of Residences and a Physics Teacher for CBSE and IGCSE ,he believes in creating a comfortable, supportive and spiritual environment for resident scholars that is conducive to learning and personal growth. He offers a well-disciplined environment to ensure the success of each and every child.
His last assignment has been as Head of the Department of Physics and Senior House Master at Mayo College, Ajmer.
Anju Saxena is heading the Learning Support Department. She is a special educator and a developmental therapist. She did BSc from Delhi University and completed her PG in developmental therapy from the Spastic Society of Northern India. She has done her M.Ed Inclusive Education from Delhi.
She is pursuing her passion as she loves to be with children with different abilities. Her strengths are her dedication and commitment to her work.
Chandreyi Bhattacharya is a M.SC, B.Ed,UGC NET qualified and National Scholarship holder in Psychology from Calcutta University .She has been teaching for the last 20 years and has been associated with many prestigious schools like Gokhale Memorial School(Kolkata),Delhi Public School(Faridabad )on behalf of Warrick Finishing School, New Green Field Saket, K.R.Mangalam World School,GK2 etc.
She is a special educator from SNDT Bombay and has also worked as a counselor .She has been appointed as External Examiner and also the Examiner for Spot Evaluation in the subject psychology for class XII by CBSE Board.
At GGS, she teaches psychology to Grades 11 and 12 CBSE, she is also the Itihaas trip organizer on behalf of school,Valour House Master, Coordinator for CBSE Grades 9 and 10.
Apart from understanding and analyzing human mind she loves to cook and sing whether it is Rabindrasangeet or Bengali Adhunik or light hindi music.
Rajarao holds a Masters degree in Chemistry and a B.Ed.
He has taught Chemistry at all levels from Grade 9 to University and Biology at IGCSE level as well.
His previous work experience has been as Asst. IBDP coordinator, CAS coordinator, Head of boarding, HoD Science, Examination officer and time-table coordinator.
At GGS, he is the Facilitator of Chemistry for IBDP, IGCSE, IB-MYP coordinator, HoD-Science and ToK coordinator.
In his free hours he loves to listen to music, play sports like badminton, cricket and lawn tennis.
Prateek Sharma is an M.Com from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in both the subjects he teaches – Accountancy and Business Administration. He has been teaching these subjects since 2000. He possess an overall teaching experience of more than 16 years and has been associated with many prestigious schools including Mayo College-Ajmer, Step By Step School-Jaipur and Ryan International School.
At GGS, he has been taking Accountancy and Business Studies classes for Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. He is also the CBSE Coordinator-Senior Secondary and HOD of the Commerce Department.
When he is not engrossed into teaching, he is cooking or listening to music. He loves going on long drives and exploring new places.
Rajeev Pargaien has been teaching Mathematics from the last 15 years and has been associated with many prestigious schools like Bluebells International School Delhi. He completed his M.Sc in Mathematics from Kumoun University Nainital.
Since his joining GGS, 4 years ago ,he has taught Mathematics to CBSE, IGCSE and IB students. He is also co-ordinating the exam department for international examinations, taking care of all the internal assessments of the school. He has worked as House master of Justice house for nearly 4 years. Currently he is also appointed as an assistant coordinator for CAS.
Ruma Paul has been teaching Mathematics for the last 8 years .She has done her B.Sc and B Ed. from Barkatullah University, Bhopal.
She teaches Mathematics in middle school at GGS, in both the CBSE and CS curriculums.
Besides updating herself in her subject she is fond of Indian classical music.
Richa Dhawan Anand has been teaching for the last 13 years and has a Masters degree in English. Her alma mater is Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. She has taught in prestigious schools like Bluebells School International and K.R.Mangalam World School.
She has been associated with GGS since 2013 and has been teaching Middle and Senior School scholars nuances of English grammar and Literature through the IGCSE and CBSE syllabi. As the in-charge of the Trinity College Club she has nurtured students in the field of Drama and Communications for the last 4 years. She has also served as the Convener of Landmark-a Cultural Extravaganza for schools of Delhi and NCR since 2015.
In 2015, Richa received a ‘Letter of Appreciation’ from Ms. Smriti Zubin Irani (then Human Resources Development Minister) for her extraordinary results in class 10.
In 2018 she made it to the final 50, shortlisted out of thousands of nominations from 75 countries, for the Dedicated Teachers Award, organised by Cambridge University Press.
Richa likes to interact and communicate with people around her which helps her in developing her pedagogical skills as an English mentor. Teaching along with reading and travelling gives her a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.
Shailja Jhamb Datt has been associated with Genesis since its inception. She is a B.A and B.Ed. She has been teaching for the last 18 years and has been associated with many prestigious schools including Bluebells School International Delhi.
She is the Grade 5 coordinator and also the PYP Coordinator, overseeing the implementation of the PYP programme at GGS.
When she is not busy with her classes, she is reading novels and loves travelling with family and friends.
