Community Service

Service to community is one of the pillars on which we have laid the strong foundation of Genesis Global School. As an integral part of the school, children are encouraged to  find an area of service they are passionate about. Young volunteers learn to respect others, learn to be helpful and kind, and learn to understand people who may be different. Service develops leadership skills, helps students to become more patient and gives them a better understanding of citizenship.

Service is considered the greatest of all services and GGS believes that our students must step into the world as sensitive people who can give more to society than they receive.

Junior School

  • Students of Grades 1 and 2 interact with the Sai Shiksha Sansthan: This school was started by the Founder of Bal Kuteer home. Here the residents of Bal Kuteer home study along with the children of the Wazirpur village at a subsidize fees.
  • Grade 3 provides service to Ruhi foundation: This is an educational institute run in memory of late the Dr. Ruhi. GGS students interact with peers on academic related work.

Some children are also sent to hostels for rehabilitation. Students work in groups, teaching and conducting various activities. Students also help clean, paint walls  and do minor repairs  making the ‘Ashray’ more welcoming.

  • Bhaagidaari: Students work with less privileged children of government schools in the neighbouring villages Wazirpur and Rohillapur. They spend time teaching these students and discussing with them various social issues.
  • Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission: Senior school students spend time at this home for destitute boys and teach these boys computer skills.
  • Welfare Home for Children: Here they work with abandoned children, teaching them to read with the help of flash cards and have also taught them poems.
